• The values in the forecasts have been adjusted to show the impact of inflation and annual charges of 1% per annum, which is why cash values appear to fall. (We are assuming a cash rate of 0%).
• Although the cost of living has been much higher in recent times, we’ve assumed an inflation rate of 2.0%. This figure reflects a long-term view of inflation and matches the Bank of England’s 2.0% target. The actual rate of inflation will vary and can be higher or lower.
