Our Member Panel

If you’re a Skipton member, we really want to know what you think. Our Member Panel helps us better understand how members are feeling about their money. It makes a big difference to the way we operate, including the products and services we offer. 

Help shape the future of our Society

Our Member Panel has over 19,000 members – and we don’t want to stop there.

Since 1853 we’ve helped generations of members and the communities in which we’re based. We want to keep developing products, services, and initiatives to meet members needs and expectations – both now and in the future. And we believe there’s no one better to tell us how to do that than you.

We’re currently looking for new members, and we’d love to hear your voice.

What's involved?

  • We get in touch by email to invite you to take part in online surveys and, occasionally, we'll tell you about other types of research that may be of interest to you.
  • We only invite you to contribute if we believe it’s a topic relevant to you. There are no strings attached and it’s entirely voluntary.
  • We let you know how we use your feedback and any changes you help to make.

The Panel's impact

“The input we receive from our panellists is vital in helping us improve all aspects of the Society, with topics ranging from how we communicate, to new product ideas and member benefits.

A small group of members also contribute to our Digital Panel - testing enhancements we're continuously making to our digital channels, such as recent work to improve the savings maturity journey.”

Our research partners

We also work with external research companies to help us get independent understanding of how our members are feeling and how we can continue to provide the best service possible. Three providers we regularly work with are Boxclever, Trinity McQueen and UserZoom, although we may also occasionally work with other partners.
