Your home is more than just a building – it’s your castle. And protecting it (and what’s inside it) should be simple and stress-free.

That’s why we’re working with Uinsure, a trusted, award-winning home insurance provider who can give you a quote in just a few simple steps.

Why home insurance matters

Life happens. And whether it’s a burst pipe, a fire or even a break-in, that’s what home insurance is there for. It helps cover the cost of repairs or even rebuilding if disaster truly strikes. Plus, if your stuff gets stolen or damaged, your policy could help to replace it.

Why Uinsure?

  • Quick and easy quotes – get a personalised insurance quote in just a few simple steps (no lengthy forms or tricky questions about the type of locks you have on your doors).
  • Highly rated – with a 5-star Defaqto rating, you know you’re in safe hands.
  • Attractive prices – Uinsure compare insurance premiums from a panel of insurers to offer you a fair price and high-quality coverage.
  • Tailored cover just for you – choose cover that fits your unique needs, whether it’s building, contents or combined insurance.
  • 24/7 support – Uinsure’s friendly and experienced team are available around the clock to help you out.

What’s covered

Here’s a quick rundown of what’s included in your Uinsure policy:

  • Buildings cover – up to £1 million to protect the structure, fixtures and fittings of your home.
  • Contents cover – choose from £75K or £100K to cover things like your furniture and carpets.
  • Alternative accommodation – support if you need to live elsewhere while repairs are made.
  • Trace and access – up to £1 million for trace and access costs for sourcing a leak.
  • Cover for your outbuildings – additional structures on your property can be covered too, like your garage.
  • Accidental technology breakage – protection for technology equipment.
  • Repairs guarantee – all repairs are covered for one year.

What’s not covered

Just so you know, here are a few things that aren’t included:

  • Damage from everyday wear and tear.
  • Incidents that happened before your policy started.
  • Properties left unoccupied for more than 60 days.
  • Loss or damage to gates and fences during a storm.
  • Damage caused by pets.
  • Claims due to poor workmanship.

Optional extras

Add a little more peace of mind with these extra cover options for an additional premium:

  • Accidental damage – protection for those unexpected mishaps, like smashing a window with a football.
  • Personal possessions – Items you take outside your home, such as your mobile phone or jewellery, are not covered for loss, theft, or damage under contents insurance if they are worth less than £2,500. To insure these items, you'll need personal belongings cover. Some items have individual limits: mobile phones (£500), personal money (£750), and credit cards (£1,000). If an item's value exceeds these limits, it must be specified individually to be covered by the policy.
  • Home emergency protection – immediate assistance from professional tradesmen to deal with a range of home emergencies, such as boiler breakdowns. The policy provides cover up to £1,500 (including VAT) per claim. There’s no annual maximum limit on claims.
  • Family legal cover – £150,000 legal cover for you and your family during difficult legal situations, such as employment disputes or personal injury claims.
